You're correct that the Flexradio units top out at 54 MHz, but I'm told that this multiband transverter - http://q5signal.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=70&product_id=100 integrates nicely with Flexradio units, adding the 2m, 1.25m, 70cm, 33cm, and and 23cm bands to a Flexradio unit's capabilities. I'm not a Flexradio user yet, nor can I point to any documentation, but I'll guess that the Flexradio units, being entirely software defined, can easy accommodate the transverter and display the transverted frequencies, such as instead of 28 MHz, it displays 144 MHz. It's not cheap, but it's doable, and entirely remotable. No one else is doing as stellar a job on "remotability" as Flexradio.

Aha! Very good to know! Thank you.
