K1 earbuds: I didn't bother with them, there are numerous K1 to M1 adapters available (like on amazon), i had one already for my BTECH UV-Pro. The common K1 sets work perfectly with he adapter. Example
NotebookLM: depending on your privacy stance, you really have to be a glutton for punishment to run the local version, enough said ...... If you are loading up a bunch of user manuals or other public docs, i don't see what the big fuss is ....... i would hazard that this is the 80-20% use case
Yes, running NotebookLM is like most of the other models I've run locally: it can be slow, and therefore frustrating. Still, there may be times when you really don't want "Big G" to add your search to their profile of you. I appreciate your comments!
